I created this painting during the Me Too time period. And while I definitely felt like it was good for those female voices to be heard - finally and for change to happen - I also couldn’t help but wonder about the whole situation. 

Why did the issue finally get a voice and why did our government finally seem to care ? Was it honest care and genuine change happening before our eyes or was it government manipulating and exploiting a marginalized group to advance power for the government?
